Well, firstly, thanks for coming by. The point of this little side project is to test a theory I have about how you can use computers to understand natural human language. The idea is that computers would be infinitely more useful if they could understand us better without the strict syntax rules we generally have to use when interacting with them. Once that's solved, there are a lot of cool things you can do with that (and yes, I have a few in mind).
So what does that have to do with you? Well, to parse natural language, you first need some examples. And that's exactly where you all come in. If you're so inclined, you can click on the survey button above. That will take you to a page that asks you to fill out a list. If you do decide to help out, please remember to answer as if you were scribbling notes to yourslef and not like you're trying to get a computer to understand you.
All your answers (and names and email - if you choose to provide them) will never leave the computer or be shared with anyone. There are no ads, email lists, spam, etc. I'm happy to share whatever results I come up with if you want, or you can just go on with your life and never hear from me again (which I'm sure none of you would want).
